Katuo vs. Bunnies

“...We are on Planet Bunny?! Just because we ran out of food?!” Katuo yells. He has this terrible urge to run around out of panic but decides against it.

“Hehehehe!” Ketsu laughs nervously. “Yeah, now that we have an extra member in our team… we should’ve known that we would not have enough food to last this long. The next planet isn’t for a few days, so it’s either this planet or starving.”

“I’D RATHER STARVE!” Katuo yells angrily.

“Holy Cosmos!” Roy enters the bridge. “What’s with all this yelling?”

“I have an idea!” Ketsu lightly thumps his fist on his other palm. “Why don’t you and Roy go out and find food? I have to do the maintenance… and Siko has to do the cleaning from all the tiny asteroids hitting my precious spaceship.”

“No way!” The Dark God shouts. “Bunnies are going to give me rash!”

Roy laughs hard. “You’re scared!”

“Shut the hell up or my fist will play with your teeth!” Katuo holds up his angry fist, making Roy yelp and dive behind Ketsu.

“Great! You have a couple of hours to gather food!” The Dark Angel says cheerfully. “Go, go!”

Katuo nearly faints when he steps out of the spaceship with Roy. There are countless white flowers everywhere, and there is not anything green in sight.

“Wah! Please don’t faint!” Roy cries.

“Whatever. I just want to get done with this dumb task.” Katuo snaps, as he tries to get himself together. “Who the hell does Ketsu think he is?! I am the leader of Hoshiko!” 

Roy chuckles softly at Katuo’s silliness, even though the Dark God does not mean it. “Say…”

He presses his new watch-like device, which displays a hologram of the planet’s map. “Hey, this planet is inhabited! The town isn’t too far. We can get food from there!”

When he does not get any response from Dark God, he gets a little too concerned. “Hey, Katuo. Are you alright?”

“Alright?! I got those freaking bunnies all over me!” 

Literally. Cute and tiny white rabbits are clinging to the horrified Katuo’s shaking body.

“Geez! You gotta work on your temper.” Roy chuckles softly. Sure, it was funny at first, but then it got old. Besides, he is starting to feel a little bit sorry for Katuo. “Anyway, let’s hurry! The sooner we get food, the sooner we leave!”

He turns to start jogging but then ends up falling with his face on the ground. “Ow!”

The Icy Warrior looks back behind himself to see what he has tripped only to find a whimpering bunny in pain.

“Ack! I’m so sorry!” He quickly grabs the injured rabbit. “We have to get you to a doctor! I’m sorry! I’ll be careful next time!”

Katuo finally pulls the last bunny off his chest. “Stupid bunny! Roy, let’s just hurry and get goddamn food!”

He walks past Roy, heading for the town. Soon, he realizes that the Icy Warrior is not following him at all. “Roy?”

He turns around only to freeze at the sight. Roy is just standing there idly with his blank eyes. Usually, his eyes are cheerful, but not like this. 

Am I going insane now? Katuo frowns. Wait a minute. Where is that stupid bunny that Roy was holding just seconds ago… Oh.

The rabbit is sitting on the top of Roy’s head with a big evil grin on its face.

Did that damn bunny just smirk at me? Am I seriously freaking out now? Katuo takes a step back. Did I fall unconscious? Am I dreaming?

Suddenly, he gets a strong punch in the face by Roy. He quickly places his hand on his injured jaw. Fuck! That fucking hurts! That means it’s not a dream at all!

Roy throws another punch, but Katuo quickly grabs his fist.

“I don’t know what the hell happened to you, but I can’t afford to lose you to the stupid bunnies!” The Dark God places his hand on Roy’s face, as he is powering up for his dark energy. “Hope this works --”

All of sudden, the rabbits come out of nowhere and grab as much of the Dark God’s body as possible.

“What the he--” Katuo’s face gets covered by one more baby rabbit. Its adorable black eyes are staring into Katuo’s.

So cute… ACK! What the hell was I thinking just now?! Katuo shakes his head furiously.

Oh wow! What the heck happened?!

Katuo nearly jumps out of his skin at the sudden voice of Hikyou. It has been quite a while since the last time he heard Double God’s voice.

“Hikyou-sama! How do I defeat them?!” He shouts in desperation.

Um… First of all... Never… I mean, never look into any rabbit’s eyes! They make your brains err… go cute and happy. See that Icy Warrior? He has been possessed because he looked at it.

Katuo frowns in concern. “So, how do I get Roy back?”

...This is another test. You’re on your own.

Suddenly, the telepathic link between Katuo and Hikyou-sama has been cut.

“WHAT?! YOU STUPID DOUBLE GOD!” Katuo yells angrily. He turns to the waiting and patient rabbits. “Fine! I’ll kick your asses, then!”

The rabbits are quickly sent flying away through the air by a sudden gust of wind when Katuo takes off his black headband, making his black wings appear and open widely.

“You asked for it.” Katuo scowls deeply. “You’re going down!”

The bunnies start snarling loudly, making creepy and scary faces as if they are true monsters. As if they read each other’s minds, they quickly jump toward each other, making a large pile.

“Hn, I don’t know what you are doing, but I’m not letting you become stronger!” Katuo rushes toward the pile of bunnies, but stops when Roy gets in his way. “Wha --”

Roy’s fist connects to his own leader’s stomach, sending him through the air. He quickly follows him and then kicks him in the stomach even harder, making the Dark God going through air even faster.

Eventually, Katuo finally crashes into one of the small mountains. Groaning in pain, he shakes his head. Dammit. How far did I go? We were in some garden of flowers… and then now, I’m in some kind of mountains!

Suddenly, Roy appears right in front of Katuo. He throws a punch only to end up hitting a large boulder into smaller pieces instead. “Huh?!”

Katuo’s head has moved a few inches away from Roy’s powerful fist. With a smirk on his face, he says, “You missed.”

They hear loud roars from far away.

Oh fuck. Please don’t let it be THAT thing that I’m thinking… Katuo slowly turns around. Oh goddammit!

A huge, ugly rabbit, made out of hundreds of bunnies, is snarling loudly. Before Dark God knows it, the rabbit makes a sudden movement.

“Oh shit!” Katuo quickly dodges when the rabbit thumps its paw on the ground. Another heavy paw lands onto Katuo, but the Dark God has already raised his hands and caught it.

He senses another presence, so he quickly glances around until he finds Roy aiming his bow and arrow at him. “Oh crap! I… I fucking hate this cursed planet!”

“Fuzzy, sit down!” A familiar voice yells angrily.

Roy strikes the arrow at Katuo, but the Dark God quickly uses Oscuro to shield himself with his dark energy as soon as the rabbit lets him go.

The Icy Warrior blinks, as if he has been snapped out of some kind of dreamland. “Where am I? What happened?”

“Good boy!”

Katuo follows toward where the voice is coming from.

“Oh, hey, Siko!” Roy waves his hand cheerfully. “What are you doing here?”

“There you are, Fuzzy!” Siko laughs lightheartedly. With his white wings, he is hovering around the large rabbit and petting him.

“Uh, Katuo, are you ok?” Roy asks worriedly.

And, that is the last thing Katuo hears before his vision goes completely black.

“What? He fainted?” A giggle. “Oh well, you may go. He will be fine with me.”

“Haha, I told you, cousin!” That damn amused voice must be Ketsu’s. “Okay, we will leave you lovebirds alone.”

A few footsteps fade away when Ketsu leaves the room.

Katuo, you’re already awake. So open your eyes, you lazy bum.

“Oh! Was that Hikyou-sama just now?” Siko giggles again.

“Siko…” Katuo says softly, as he opens his eyes to find himself underneath an incredibly hot, shirtless Light God.

“I have a reward for you.” Siko places a light kiss on Katuo’s lips. “Because you were brave enough to go out there in such a dangerous place.”

“Reward?” Katuo asks almost excitedly.

“Hold on.” Siko gets off Katuo, not much to Katuo’s pleasure. He walks around, as if he is looking for something. “Here, here…”

Katuo sits up with a raised eyebrow. “Siko, what are you doing --”

His eyes nearly pop out when Siko picks up a white baby rabbit. He screams, “Aaahhhhh!! Make it go away!”

“Why?” Siko blinks innocently. “It’s just innocent and adorable! We found him just outside when you fainted. We named him Fuzzy!”

“Innocent?! Adorable?! That fucking animal tried to kill me!”

A-ahem! About that… You fainted as soon as you saw Fuzzy… and Roy had to carry you back here… And, oh yeah, uh, you had a nightmare about this huge rabbit which was trying to kill you.

“The fuck?! I fainted?! When did I faint?!” Katuo yells.

“Calm down,” Siko says nervously.

“How the hell was it a dream if I got hurt by Roy?!”

Hehehe! Actually, I was sort of messing around with your nightmare.

“Katuo?” Siko backs off in fear when he sees Katuo’s half-naked body starting to show angry veins.

“HIKYOU-SAMAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!”
