“Why are the healers this weak?!” Katuo yells angrily.
Siko scratches the back of his head nervously. “You shouldn’t expect that every healer is powerful.”
“That wasn’t what Hikyou-sama said!” Dark God snaps. “Wasn’t Skylar Lawrence from Planet Lune? He was the universe’s most powerful healer and used to fight alongside our fathers back then.”
After landing on Planet Lune, every Hoshiko warrior goes off on their own. Roy wants to go to check out some kind of awesome ice cream parlor. Ketsu wants to check out a mechanical shop. So, that leaves Siko and Katuo to find a new healer by themselves.
Siko glances around at countless people in either white robes or cloaks walking through the tiny streets with shops at either side. He sighs lightly. “I’m as disappointed as you are. But you said that we just need a healer. To heal Roy and other future possible allies who will be joining us. Hikyou-sama never asked for a powerful fighting healer.”
“Tch!”
“While we are at it… let’s buy food!” Siko grabs Katuo’s hand and runs to the food market only to bump into a tall silver-haired man in a long black coat. “Oh, sorry! Excuse us!”
The stranger nods his head, as if he accepts his apology before he hurriedly walks away.
?!?!
“What is it, Hikyou-sama?” Katuo asks, following Siko to the food market where a chubby woman cheerfully says her greetings.
That guy in black coat… He looks awfully familiar to me.
“Is he a healer?”
No.
“Then who cares? It’s not like you can remember every single person in the Fifth Universe.” Dark God crosses his arms with a deep scowl, watching Siko happily gather as many fruits as possible.
That’s the point! If he is not the healer… then what is he doing on a planet full of healers? He must be up to something!
“Fine, if you want me to waste time…” Katuo turns around, expecting to find the stranger, but he is completely gone. “Eh?”
Quickly! Find him!
Leaving Siko all alone at the food market, Dark God tries to move as fast as possible, bumping every healer’s shoulder. “Where the hell is that guy?! Hey, you!”
“Pardon me?” A lady snaps at him. “That is not how you greet when you meet ladies for the first time!”
“That guy… in the black coat! Have you seen him?”
“Oh! Y-yeah, I think I saw him going into that…” The lady points at what looks to be a tavern. She then grumbles at herself about how rude the visitor is when Dark God quickly takes off for the tavern.
Just as Katuo enters the tavern, a big-muscled man suddenly comes flying and crashes into the wall next to the entrance door. But then he easily gets up after he heals his own broken back. Mumbling angrily at himself, he walks past Katuo out of the tavern.
“What did you say?!” A tall and bald bartender asks angrily, thumping his fist on the counter.
The silver-haired stranger takes another sip of a beer. “What, are you deaf? I said this is the worst beer I’ve ever tasted.”
“Why the hell are you still drinking it?!” The bartender yells.
The man in the black coat stomps the empty beer mug on the counter and turns to him. “Let me give you some advice… Just make sure that brewing beer adds one or two days.”
“What difference will it make --”
“Yo! Dere’s another dude in black!” One of the customers says drunkenly.
Every customer, including the silver-haired man, in the tavern turns to Katuo, who clearly is the other guy in black.
“You’re not from here,” the silver-haired man says simply after observing the way the other guy dresses. “I hope you’re not here to destroy this tavern… are you?”
Say yes! Just say it!
“Shut up, Hikyou-sama.” Katuo hisses under his breath. He looks up at the stranger only to get startled by his height. He never has thought that there would be anybody who is taller than him.
“Hm? You’re different from anybody I’ve ever met.” The stranger calmly gets up from the stool. He slowly glances at Katuo, narrowing his heterochromia eyes, brown one and another blue one, in suspicion. “Hey, you look awfully familiar to me.”
Fight him.
“Why?” Katuo asks. He is quite uncertain due to the fact that he cannot sense the stranger’s presence at all. Is he even from this universe?
He widens his dark green eyes in terror when the silver-haired man disappears from his sight.
Behind you!
Katuo quickly turns around with his new black sword made out of his dark energy as soon as he hears Hikyou’s voice.
Only to realize that instead of attacking, the silver-haired man is running away. Katuo shouts, “What the hell?!”
“That fucking bastard! He owes me money for seven beers!” The bartender yells, shaking his angry fist in the air. He jumps over the counter and begins chasing after the stranger.
Katuo quickly joins the chase as well. The bartender does not last long anyway, as he stops running after about half a mile.
This stranger may be fast, but he is no match for Dark God’s speed. Katuo is slowly catching up with him. “H-he’s fast! Why is he so fast if he is not even using any power, like rush?!”
Roy is whistling cheerfully and licking his favorite coffee-flavored ice cream, stepping out of the ice cream parlor. He blinks in confusion when he hears loud commotion from far away. “What is that --”
Suddenly, the silver-haired stranger runs past Roy, almost making him drop his ice cream. As he barely dodges from startled citizens, he yells, “Sorry!”
“Watch where you’re going, bastard!” The Icy Warrior yells, his angry fist shaking in the air at him.
“Roy! Catch him with your ice!” Katuo shouts, as he runs past Roy, who is quite surprised at his sudden appearance.
“Yes, sir!” Roy yells. After licking his ice cream, he begins running for a short time until he creates an icy path from his feet. Rather than running, he begins to slide on the icy path, becoming faster and faster. He eventually catches up with Katuo, but as soon as he slides past him, he quickly jumps across the field to get closer to the silver-haired man. When he gets close enough, he suddenly drops himself and smacks his empty palm on the ground.
“Finally!” Katuo stops running after the stranger’s feet get frozen with Roy’s ice, stuck to the ground.
“What the hell?!” the silver-haired stranger yells, trying to break out of the ice but his legs are not barging at all.
Roy is whistling calmly, as he is casually sliding on his icy path around the stranger until he stops in front of him. “You’re lucky I didn’t drop my ice cream… or else you would have met your nightmare!”
“Another one who is not from this planet? What do you want from the healers?” The silver-haired man asks him in suspicion.
“Actually, you are right. We want a healer to take with us,” Katuo says simply, startling him a little. “Thanks, Roy.”
“No problem!” Roy says cheerfully and then licks his ice cream.
“My name is Katuo Kejinto.” The Dark God walks around the tall man until he is facing him. “I am Dark God.”
“Roy Shivero! Icy Warrior.”
“Dark God?” The stranger blinks his heterochromia eyes in surprise. “You came back after a thousand years?”
“No, that was not me. Before me… the previous Dark God died a thousand years ago. I am the new Dark God,” Katuo answers. “Now tell us... who are you? What are you doing here on this planet?”
The heterochromia-eyed stranger beams a big grin at them. “My name is Shonn Rage. I’m here because I am bored. I’ve been looking for a challenge.”
“Challenge?” Katuo raises an eyebrow. “So, you’re looking for a fight… yet… you’re on a planet full of healers.”
“Uhhh….” Shonn scratches the back of his head nervously. “I got lost and then crashed here by accident. My space vehicle is broken, and I have no idea how to fix it. So I’ve been here for years.”
I want him to join us!
“Join us? Are you crazy?! Didn’t you say that we needed a healer?” Katuo asks.
Why not? He looks strong and fast! Besides, he looks awfully familiar, so I need time to figure out who exactly he is. We can always find a healer later.
“Later?! We are on this planet full of healers!”
“Who are you talking to?” Shonn is staring at Katuo as if he is crazy.
“Hikyou-sama!” Roy exclaims excitedly. “Amazing, right? He is the Double God of this universe! He recently came back after being missing for a thousand years!”
“Double God?!” Shonn cries almost in excitement with his head wildly turning. “He is here?! Where, where, where?!”
“He is with us. It’s just that you can’t see him.” Katuo rubs his throbbing forehead due to Hikyou-sama repeatedly telling him for Shonn to join. “But… he wants you to join us.”
“Hikyou-sama wants me to join?” Shonn points at himself questioningly. “But first, I want to fight him!”
“Katuo, there you are!” Siko yells angrily as he stomps toward Katuo. His angry white wings flap hard at the air, creating strong breezes. “What the hell, Katuo?! You left me all alone at the market!”
“Ack! Siko, wait! I was chasing after --”
“White wings? Is he Light God?” Shonn asks, his body almost shaking in excitement.
“Who is he?” Siko asks curiously, completely forgetting about the reason why he is angry at Katuo in the first place.
“Shonn Rage. Hikyou-sama wants him in.” Katuo jerks his thumb at him.
“I thought he wanted a healer?”
“Hikyou-sama changed his mind and doesn’t want any healer from this planet anymore,” Ketsu says suddenly, walking past Siko. He shrugs his shoulders.
“Enough chatting.” Shonn flashes a big grin. “Want me in? Then, challenge me for it!”
“How are you supposed to fight if…” Roy stops when he realizes that ice around Shonn’s foot is melting down. “Eh?!”
Before the Icy Warrior knows it, he suddenly gets elbowed in the face by the silver-haired warrior, dropping his favorite ice cream.
What is that power…?! Katuo stares at Shonn in amazement.
Be careful! Do not touch him at all! Use your power to attack instead!
“How come --” Katuo is interrupted when Ketsu suddenly jumps right in front of him, blocking Shonn’s powerful knee with his bare palms.
“Dammit!” Roy yells angrily, completely upset with his spoiled ice cream. He slams his hands on the floor, creating ice fast. It spreads all over the area until it reaches Shonn and freezes half of his lower body completely.
“Ketsu!” Siko cries when he notices that Ketsu’s hands are starting to smoke literally. The Dark Angel flinches at the pain in his hands.
Attack him! Hurry!
Katuo and Siko, leaving their headbands behind and already in their godly modes, quickly rush off toward the seized stranger. With dark and light powers glowing brightly in their hands, they throw their fists at Shonn.
Only to miss him completely.
Shonn bends his body backward completely, evading Siko and Katuo’s powerful punches easily. Using his own power that only he and Hikyou-sama knows, he quickly melts down Roy’s ice. As soon as ice is too weak to break, Shonn lands his hands on the floor while still bending backward and gives Ketsu a hard kick in the face after breaking free from the ice.
“Ow!” Ketsu grabs his throbbing chin.
Shonn flips his body backward one more time before landing with his feet safely. Now that they stop fighting suddenly, he is still surrounded by the Hoshiko warriors.
He exclaims in excitement, “This is really fun! It’s been a long time since the last time I had this much fun!”
“H-how did he even manage to avoid all of our attacks?” Siko almost stammers.
This universe is much, much bigger than you think. You will run into powerful guys like him. I suggest not to hold your power back anymore.
“Tch!” Katuo almost growls in frustration. He gives Shonn a hard stare before he gives a small chuckle.
“What’s so funny?” Shonn raises an eyebrow.
A black sword grows longer from Katuo’s bare hand, as he says, “You said you wanted a challenge. Well, then… you got it!”
