Fiery Werewolf

Shonn beams with excitement at the Hoshiko members whose guards are still up. If he can take down all of four opponents, especially two Gods, then he will be able to defeat Double God!
That is if he ever finds Double God.
“Arrow Shower!” Roy yells, as he lets go of his bow’s string, sending his icy arrow towards the sky.
At the same time, Ketsu rushes past Siko and Katuo, withdrawing his sword. When he gets close enough to Shonn, he quickly leaps into the air and raises his weapon above his head.
Before the Dark Angel can strike him down, Shonn swiftly moves behind him in the air. “Surprise!” He laughs loudly and places one of his feet on the back of Ketsu’s head, dropping and crashing him into the ground, cracking it in the process. Ketsu yelps in pain.
Shonn’s ears barely twitch at unfamiliar sounds coming from the sky. He quickly glances up to find hundreds of icy arrows coming down fast.
After a short surprise, a big grin appears on his face. After letting go of Ketsu, Shonn easily dodges every single icy arrow at high speed.
“What?!” Roy cries in shock after his opponent easily evades his last arrow.
“The way he moves…!” Siko glances at Katuo nervously. “What should we do now?”
“Hn,” Katuo replies.
“Everyone calls me Fiery Werewolf.” Shonn jerks his thumb at himself, winking one of his eyes. “Icy Warrior, aren’t you?”
“Tch!” Roy scowls in frustration at the so-called werewolf’s arrogance and waits trying to think of another strategy.
Katuo rushes toward Shonn, nearly invisible to any witnesses who happen to catch their battle. He hastily thrusts his dark sword forward, about to pierce through Shonn’s defenseless chest only to have it caught by Shonn’s bare hands.
“Dark God, eh?” Shonn asks in amusement, holding the blade of Katuo’s black sword firmly. Due to the high amount of the power of fever, the tip of the sword begins to turn bright orange.
“I’m impressed.” Without making any further move, Katuo makes a quick glance at the unconscious Dark Angel. “You managed to knock Ketsu out… the Dark Angel. I can see why Hikyou-sama wants you in.”
Shonn leans forward closer to Katuo’s face and says flatly, “If Hikyou-sama wants me to be on your team… then I want him to come out here right now.”
Katuo and Siko can clearly feel Hikyou’s huge grin. They can tell that the Double God really, really, really wants to come out of the dimension where he is trapped so badly at this point.
Too bad they do not have enough power to free Double God. Not yet.
Katuo swings his elbow while his other hand is still holding his burning sword, but Shonn quickly leaps backward, landing on his hands and feet as if he were a four-legged animal.
“I guess the answer is no.” Shonn gives a light chuckle, but his laughter stops as soon as he senses another powerful presence behind himself. “Oh cra --”
His head harshly snaps to the side as soon as he gets punched in the face, concluding with being sent flying all the way across the field, around five hundred feet away.
“Don’t let your guard down!” Siko unclenches his fist, as his light power disappears from his hand.
Shonn flips up from the ground and lands on his feet easily. He wipes fresh blood from his chin with a huge grin on his face. He cannot help but notice that his heart rate is way out of the chart. He has not felt this way for a long, long time.
“Can’t this guy just give up?!” Roy yells as he points his crossbow at the so-called werewolf. The ice at the tip of the arrow is growing larger and larger until Roy finally releases it from his crossbow.
The heterochromia-eyed fighter is about to dodge when Roy’s icy arrow suddenly explodes into millions of tiny icicles. “Fuck!!” He cries in panic and then crosses his arms across his own face, trying to brace himself from the upcoming attack.
After taking hundreds of chilly hits, Shonn takes a deep breath as he puts down his arms only to realize that Katuo is standing right in the front. The tip of Dark God’s sword is barely touching Shonn’s chin.
Well, well, it looks like we caught the pup, eh?
“You’re finished.” Katuo gives Shonn a smirk as his black sword is being dissolved away into the air. “How about it? If you become one of us… then you can see Hikyou-sama at Planet Heaven. We have a spaceship if you wish to join us.”
Shonn pouts angrily as he crosses his arms. He looks away with a scowl. “No thanks.”
“Why not?” Siko joins the conversation.
“Because I’m not interested.” Shonn shrugs his shoulders. “All I want is to fight someone powerful… and…” He makes a hard glance at Katuo. “You were holding yourself back. And I still lost. I hate that.”
“Then, get stronger with us.” Katuo reaches out his hand. “So that you won’t be in the shadow of someone you know anymore.”
Shonn flinches at Katuo’s words.
“He’s right, you know.” Siko smiles brightly at the Fiery Werewolf. “Katuo had always felt that he was in the shadow of his own father.”
“H-how do you know?” Shonn almost stammers.
“You have the same determination in your eyes as Katuo does.” Light God places his hand on Shonn’s shoulder. “You want to suppress someone, right?”
Shonn frowns at the Gods. He knows that they are right, but… “No thanks. Still not interested.”
“Aw,” Siko says sadly. “Oh well, it’s too bad that we can’t get someone to help us fight and defeat Kira --”
“What?!” Shonn howls suddenly, making Siko and Katuo jump out of their skins. “Kira?! The scary Hopian who survived the Double God’s wrath?! You’re going after her too?!”
“Yes,” Katuo says as if it is obvious. “She is heading for Heaven where Hikyou-sama is. We are trying to catch up with her but we need all the help that we can use.”
If Shonn had a tail, it would be wiggling high in the air. “I am in!”

“Cheers!” The Hoshiko members, including the new sixth member, click each other’s beer steins hard and loudly.
“To our new member!” Siko exclaims excitedly. “We are so happy to have you! Even Hikyou-sama is thrilled!”
Shonn takes a long sip of his beer. “This is the best beer I’ve ever drank in a long time! If you told me that you had beers, I would have joined you in an instant!”
“You’re quite strange, eh?” Ketsu laughs, with Gus chirping happily at his shoulder. “You really kicked my ass! It’s a good thing that there was a healer walking nearby, eh?”
Shonn snickers at the Dark Angel. “Sorry, sorry! I got overexcited! At least you got healed!”
“So, what powers do you use?” Roy asks curiously. “I have the powers of icy and aguila.”
“Oh!” Shonn says almost thoughtfully, “Fever and fire.”
“Fever, eh?” Katuo raises an eyebrow.
“The power of fever increases my body temperature. Remember how I made your sword burn?” Shonn flashes a big grin. “As for fire power, I don’t use it often. It drains my power pretty fast.”
“Gus uses fire too." Katuo jerks a thumb at the happy chirping dragon. “I highly suggest you start training with your fire power. I honestly promise you that it will increase your stamina. You must have seen how many times Roy used ice power against you, yet he was still able to stand like nothing happened after the battle.”
Shonn pouts and crosses his arms.
“If you want to get stronger… The training room is available for you. You look like you stopped training for the past few years.”
“That’s because I was stuck on that stupid planet! All I had ever done was to beat myself up." Shonn loudly whines before he claps his hands together in a pleading way. “Can’t you just train me? You both can be my mentors!”
“We did not ask you to join us to train you,” Siko says sternly, which is so unlike himself, being the angelic Light God. “It was Hikyou-sama who wanted you to be one of us because you are strong. But that does not mean that you can win against someone like Kira that easily.”
Without letting Shonn say a word, the Light God gets up and leaves the living room.
“Sorry. He doesn’t like wasting his time lecturing someone like you.” Ketsu smiles apologetically. “Come on, Shonn. We have a room for you to sleep.”

“Oh crap! I knew it was a bad idea,” Ketsu almost mumbles, as he lightly smacks himself in the forehead.
“What?” Katuo raises an eyebrow.
“It’s not even a day yet, but Roy and Shonn are already on the verge of killing each other.”
Katuo scoffs. “So? We train everyday, and some days we do that to exhaust our tensions, stresses, and angers. What is the problem?”
“Training is not the problem! Remember how we assigned Shonn the room next to Roy’s? Well, as you already know, fire and ice are not friendly with each other at all... “
“Get to the point!”
“The clash of their ice and fire powers is causing the wall between two rooms to fall apart If we don’t stop it soon, our spaceship will be in serious trouble! Besides, Roy and Shonn are doing pranks on each other already.” Ketsu hands a thin transparent tablet to Katuo who then begins to play the security video. “It’s live right now.”
In the video, Roy is sleeping peacefully and snoring lightly on his favorite bed, which is made entirely out of ice. The bed is pressed against the wall. The other side of the wall is Shonn’s room.
Shonn is snickering while his hand is on the wall, making it burn more and hotter and causing Roy’s bed to melt down completely. Eventually, the entire icy room is beginning to melt down.
“What the hell, Shonn!” Roy suddenly yells, completely awake. “Bastard!”
Shonn has never laughed so hard in his life before. But his laughter does not last long when he realizes that his own room is getting covered with ice.
“Roy! It’s not funny!” He yells at him through the wall.
“You started it!”
“Nuh-nah! You attacked me first!”
“You made me drop my ice cream first!”
Roy and Shonn kick their doors open, stomping out of their own bedrooms to the hallway. The Icy Warrior is sweating and panting heavily while the Fiery Werewolf is shivering and clattering his teeth loudly.
Roy slams his hand on the wall and begins creating ice all over it. “Now you get to see how strong my ice power is!”
“Pffft!” Shonn makes loud raspberries. Grinning wolfishly, he taps one of his feet on the floor lightly at once, spreading heat all over it. “Take this!”
At the moment the ice and heat, all over the hallway, hit each other, the cracks begin appearing on the wall because of those two conflicting strong powers.
“Enough!” Katuo booms after he opens the sliding door. He moves so fast that not even Roy and Shonn can see him until he grabs both of their heads and slams them against each other.
“Ow, ow!” Roy and Shonn cry, already down, lying on the cracked floor.
“You could have destroyed the entire spaceship if I hadn't stopped you! How about using the training room to take on each other?” Katuo snaps at them.
“Oh my god!” Ketsu cries in panic after he arrives at the scene. He dramatically throws himself on the wall with his arms spreading out, as if he is trying to hug it. “What have you done to my beautiful spaceship?! Oh god why?! My spaceship has done nothing to you at all!”
“That’s it! Shonn, you’re moving to a different room… on the other side of the spaceship!” Katuo grabs the back of Shonn’s jacket harshly and begins to drag him through the hallway. “Roy, you clean up the mess!”
“It’s not my fault --”
“I don’t give a damn!” Katuo screams all the way across the hallway. He then continues dragging Shonn and glances at him briefly. “First night, and you’re already damaging the spaceship.”
“It is not my fau-- Ow!” Shonn gets whacked in the head. He grabs his throbbing head, whimpering in pain.

“Katuo, what happened? I just saw Ketsu filling in the cracks on the way… Oh!” Siko blinks his light green eyes in surprise when he enters the kitchen to find Katuo pouring coffee in his mug. “It’s the first time that I’ve ever seen you drinking coffee…”
“I have to find something to relieve my…” Katuo takes a sip of coffee and releases a happy sigh. “Stress. Frustration. Or whatever.”
Siko giggles at him and then opens the refrigerator. “The way you drink coffee is just like your father’s! I wonder if that’s how he handles his burden as the President of Earth…?”
“Hmm?” He receives no response from his dark lover. After taking a liter of almond milk out of the refrigerator, he grabs his glass from one of the cabinets and pours the milk in it. “So, are you still mad at Roy and Shonn for what they did to the spaceship?”
“They could have destroyed it!” Katuo snaps. “Why did we let them join the team in the first place… Oh right. Hikyou-sama wanted them in.”
“At least we got the team members with the powers of ice and fire, right?” Siko grins at him and continues, “I think that’s what Hikyou-sama wants. Gus may not be capable of combating anyway. He’s better off with using his scouting speciality.”
“Hn,” Katuo takes one more sip and then places the mug on the counter.
Siko turns around as soon as he hears a door sliding open. “Ah, Shonn! How do you like your new room so far?”
Shonn nods his head excitedly in approval and then walks up to the refrigerator. He opens it briefly and then closes it with pouty lips on his face. “Where is the beer?”
“We ran out of beer yesterday, remember?” Katuo says.
Shonn makes a loud whiny noise before he drops to the floor and then rolls around almost as if he is a toddler throwing a tantrum. “But, but! I want a beer!”
“Why don’t you go and explore the spaceship?” Siko squats down with a smile on his face.
“Already did that… thirty minutes ago. Now I’m bored!”
Katuo feels a twitch out of annoyance on the bottom of one of his eyes. “Why don’t you train?”
“Training by myself is boring! Roy and Ketsu wouldn’t let me spar with them! They said they are too busy! Beers have never betrayed me when it comes to boredom… until now!” Shonn lets out a sad howl.
“What are you, a dog?” Katuo gives a frustrated sigh. “Fine. I’ll ask Ketsu to build a small bar. We have been planning to do that for weeks anyway.”
“Yaaaaay!” Shonn gets up faster than you can say ‘Double God.’ “How long will it take before it’s done?!”
“If I recall correctly from what Ketsu told me… About a week.”
Shonn falls back to the floor once again and makes a couple of whiny noises once again.
