Warning: There will be brief sexual activity between two men in this chapter.
Chapter 47
Akuji
For the next few days, Knapp has not left Logy’s side even once. Whether it’s to sleep in the same room, to volunteer around, or to eat with their friends. Logy honestly doesn’t mind Knapp’s clinginess, especially since he died right in front of him.
Death King has not come back yet, so the Dark Team is pretty much stuck in the world of demons without their spaceship.
“What do we do now?” Gules asks. He recently finished carrying the large blocks for rebuilding the castle and is now in the dining room at the inn along with the rest of the Dark Team members at the same table.
Clear takes a bite of an apple as she is tapping on her smart tablet. She shrugs her shoulders as she says, “I wonder if Tenshu abandoned us?”
“I knew something was fishy about him,” Jade says with a scowl. “Also I haven’t seen Kawaii in a while.”
Kawaii has not shown up ever since Logy found Knapp. Logy wonders that after what the Universe Warrior did to him, Kawaii might have been resentful. He raises an eyebrow when he realizes that Knapp has not responded to Jade’s comment. He is worried if the relationship between Kawaii and Knapp has been strained. Knapp wanted to bring Logy back, but doing so harmed the Fifth Universe in return.
Johnny yawns and stretches his arms. “Is it a nap time yet?”
“Hi there!”
Jade yelps in surprise when Hiroshi suddenly greets right next to his ear. The orbiting red star is chiming happily. Next to him, Liza is waving her hand cheerfully.
Knapp crosses his arms, giving the Savior of the First Universe an annoyed glare. “What are you still doing here? I thought you already left?”
“Hehe… Can I talk to you alone?”
“No.”
“Oh my, is this how you treat us after we helped you?” Liza giggles.
“We didn’t ask for your help,” Jade snaps.
“Fine, fine… Thought you would be interested in what I would say… especially since a secret cult has been built by a leader…” Hiroshi flashes a big grin on his face. “...who is not from this universe.”
He can tell by a glint in Knapp’s eyes that he is now interested. “So, can we talk somewhere alone?”
“Fine,” Knapp says. “But Logy comes with me.”

They end up going to the rooftop of the inn. Hiroshi decides to stop the red star from constantly orbiting and then sends it jingling happily into the sky. Logy sits down on the floor knowing that the conversation is going to last for a while.
“Well, where were we…?” The Savior says cheerfully. “Ah yes, so about this cult organization that I mentioned. It’s called the Order of Goddess Kira. We’re looking for the guy who founded it.”
“What?” Knapp asks in surprise. “This is the first time I’ve ever heard about them. And you haven’t even in this universe for too long… How come you were able to find out about them?”
“You know how time runs differently in every universe, right?” Liza says. “So we were chasing this guy all the way from the First Universe to here, in the Fifth Universe. However, by the time we got here, at least one decade may have already passed since he arrived.”
Knapp makes a quick glance at Logy, who nods his head. He has been reading their minds, and from his gesture, that means Liza and Hiroshi are telling the truth.
“Who is this guy that you’re after? The one who founded the Order of Goddess Kira?”
“His name is Kaiten. We’ve been looking for him for the past 6 months… until we came to Hell because the universe was on the verge of collapsing,” Hiroshi says. “We didn’t want Kaiten to get away once again.”
“There are thousands of people from the First Universe who came here. Why are you after this specific person?”
“I think that’s all we can say,” Liza says after she places her hand on Hiroshi’s shoulder stopping him from saying any more.
Logy gives a light sigh as he gets up from the floor. “Kaiten was the Head Priest from the First Universe. Just like Tenshu.”
The Savior and Healing Angel turn to him quickly. Hiroshi asks in awe, “How’d you know?”
“He has the power of mind. That’s exactly why I brought him with me,” Knapp says. “It’s not the first time that someone like you underestimated him.”
“No, we honestly didn’t realize that he could also read the immortals’ thoughts,” Liza says in an impressive tone as she gazes over Logy. “He is the first mind reader who can do that…!”
“I guess there’s no point in hiding anything from you,” Hiroshi scratches his red-haired head. “Yes, Kaiten was the Head Priest. He has been living much longer than Dios-sama, our current God of the First Universe. The God before him was Kuro. After Dios-sama defeated Kuro and became the next God, Kaiten did not like him a little bit- I guess because of their differences in how the universe should run? Kuro was way more ruthless compared to Dios-sama.
“While he barely tolerated a lot of changes Dios-sama made, he built an army of the mortals who used to worship Kuro. They battled us for a long time but when Kaiten realized he was losing, he fled to the Fifth Universe as a last resort.”
“And you just sneaked into our universe to correct your mistake?” Knapp frowns. “Why didn’t you just go to Hikyou-sama and ask him?”
Hiroshi and Liza both laugh out loud. Knapp looks at Logy who only shrugs in return.
“Dios-sama and Hikyou-sama had a long history together, but they had a really bad fallout at the end. I don’t think Hikyou-sama would be happy to see us. Or even bother helping us. Heheh.” Hiroshi chuckles lightly. “So seeing that Kaiten is using the same path- building an army… the Order of Goddess Kira in this case. He is using it and Kira to get rid of Hikyou-sama.”
“Yeah, just to spit in the face of Dios-sama.” Liza shakes her head. “We are aware that the Dark and Light Gods haven’t awakened yet but it won’t be long before Kaiten becomes too powerful and starts the war against Hikyou-sama. We’re concerned that we will be too late by then. That’s why we need your help.”
“Okay,” Knapp says without any hesitation.
“Ehhh…?” Hiroshi can never tell what Knapp is thinking because he often looks stoic and emotionless. It has to be an imagination so he asks for clarification, “You’re going to help us?”
“Yeah. To pay back for stopping me from destroying the universe and also bringing Logy back to life,” the Universe Warrior responds. “It’s also our responsibility to stop the aliens from harming the universe. Kaiten is an alien from the First Universe, right?”
“True. It’s just that you…” Hiroshi stops himself from saying any further. The Universe Warrior from the First Universe was so honorable and always cared deeply about the First Universe. But this one from the Fifth Universe is really different… I can tell he still cares about the Fifth Universe, but… He makes a quick glance at Logy. I wonder if it’s because of that mind reader?
Logy narrows his hazel eyes in suspicion.
“We’re done here,” Liza hurriedly says as she grabs Hiroshi’s arm.

“That was delicious!” Raven snickers. She gently swings her scythe to get Ezekial’s soul back into Knapp’s Divine Sword.
“Hey, I wasn’t finished with that!” Thorn complains.
“You’re too slow!” Raven places the Divine Sword into her large red magical book. “I’m responsible for the Universe Warrior’s delicious soul sword! I have to keep it safe in my book!”
“I wish you’d just quit acting all mighty just because you saved the life of Knapp’s boyfriend.” Viola rolls her eyes. She takes a look at her own scythe. “Can you believe that Lamia has the power of shapeshifting? It’s no wonder how you were framed and got expelled.”
“Well, it’s all good now!” Raven shrugs her shoulders. “It’s just Death King being… Death King, duh!”
“At least the traitors are in the River of Dead.” Thorn chortles evilly. “Serves them right for trying to overthrow Death King!”
“Hey guys!” Knapp says cheerfully.
All demons freeze at Knapp’s voice. It’s unusual for him to be happy, especially coming from a guy who nearly destroyed the entire universe.
This time Knapp brings the entire Dark Team except Logy. Hiroshi and Liza are missing as well.
“Eeps, hi! Where’s, um… Logy?” Thorn asks nervously only to get a glare from Raven.
“He’s napping,” Knapp says with a sly smirk, which only makes the demons even more anxious. “We are here because Death King is supposed to be back anytime soon.”
Just in time a door-sized portal emerges out of the air. Death King comes out first, followed by another certain immortal that Knapp is looking for.
“Tenshu, welcome to Hell,” Knapp says darkly. “I’m surprised it didn’t take you this long to come here. Did Hikyou-sama grant you permission?”
Tenshu’s smile has never gone away from his face at all. He counters with a question of his own, “Did you ask Death King to drag me to Hell so our deal could be finalized?”
Death King loudly scoffs at the Head Priest’s ridiculous question.
“You basically threw us aside without a way out of Hell,” Knapp’s tone turns angry suddenly. “Did you intend for us to stay here forever?”
“As soon as Death King found out you’re here, the deal has already been broken.” Tenshu adjusts her robe with white and black patterns and then runs his hand through his straight short black hair. “Either way, Death King could have sent you back.”
“All of you from Heaven don’t really want to do dirty work, do you?” Death King growls. “You know Hikyou-sama isn’t at his full strength and won’t be able to help out. Are you trying to piss me off enough to start another war?”
Tenshu raises up his hands, his smile never going away. “Of course not. I don’t want any violence. Now that you forced me to come here, I’m up for another deal we can make.”
“No more deals,” Knapp snaps. “Hell is safe now like you wanted. Give me the soul of Shishi like you promised.”
For the first time, Tenshu is no longer smiling. He shifts sharp blue eyes towards the Universe Warrior. “Oh no, it’s not possible because I have an issue with one of you.”
“You’re still trying to make another deal? You know it’s inevitable,” Death King says.
“Of course. I know one of you is supposed to be dead. Yet we never received a soul.”
Knapp remains silent.
“You know who I am talking about. He has passed his expiration date. You’re clearly hiding that mind reader of yours—“
This time, the entire Dark Team, except the Universe Warrior, is at the Head Priest’s throat.
“Logy has nothing to do with this,” Knapp says coldly.
“You knew that if you brought him with you, I would’ve taken him within a heartbeat. You’re smarter than I thought.” Tenshu gives a dry chuckle. “So now here’s the deal. You keep Logy’s soul. I keep Shishi’s soul. Sounds fair?”
“You bastard…” Gules says angrily.
“Logy’s soul was never part of the deal. I suggest you keep his name out of your mouth.” Knapp says ominously. “Here’s a deal for you. Hand over Shishi’s soul or we go straight to Heaven and force Hikyou-sama out of his godly position. We already have Light and Dark Gods in this universe. Kicking out the third god wouldn’t be any problem, right?”
“Well, you’re so stubborn, aren’t you?” Tenshu half smiles. “Fine. You pushed me this far. You can have Shishi’s soul. But let me remind you one more time. The second we find Logy, his soul is ours.”
He reaches out his hand and then blows Shishi’s soul literally out of his mouth. Shishi flinches as soon as he sees the Universe Warrior.
“Raven,” Knapp says.
“Yes sir! Store!” Raven opens her favorite red book to absorb Shishi’s soul.
“Well, then! I hope you’re happy.” Tenshu is smiling widely once again. He leaves through his own portal right after he says ominously, “Don’t forget you owe me Logy’s soul.”
“My sword, please,” Knapp says. Raven pulls the Divine Sword out of his book and hands it over to him.
He draws a bright red orb out of his sword and then pushes it floating towards Death King. “Thank you for bringing Tenshu here. Make sure to hide it very well. Just not in an obvious open place like that top of the mountain.”
Death King smirks as he catches the Elixir in his hands. “Of course yes.”

The universe energy is practically draining Logy dry. He is sitting in the middle of the inn room with his eyes closed. He is trying so hard to mediate but Knapp’s overwhelming power isn’t helping at all.
The entire room is coated with the universe energy. He knows it’s so Tenshu doesn’t seek him out.
Logy is awakened by the hottest kiss of his life. When he feels Knapp pulling away, he hastily grabs his lover’s face just to keep kissing.
Knapp easily lifts him as Logy wraps his legs around his hips tightly. Without breaking their kiss, the Universe Warrior carefully puts his deaf lover on the bed.
Knapp has to break the kiss as he takes off both of their shirts. He takes a quick look at his lover, who is blushing. He places kisses all over Logy’s chest.
“Ho-how did it go?” Logy asks breathlessly, trying to fight moans which stubbornly come out anyway.
Tenshu was pissing me off. As I thought, the heavenly immortals are really interested in your soul. Knapp unzips Logy’s black pants and slowly pulls them down. He is more gentle and tender than Logy is used to. Let’s talk about it afterwards.
Logy gasps and arches his body as soon as he feels wet warmth around his manhood.
~*~
Thorn and Viola are both sobbing loudly. Death King yells at them to shut up.
“It’s not fair! Raven gets to go!” Viola complains. She looks at Hiroshi and Liza. “And they got to join too!”
“I can’t get Shishi’s soul into my sword,” Knapp says with a shrug. “Raven’s book is the only way.”
“Of course, your sword only gathers the souls from other universes. Very interesting,” Death King says. He turns to Raven. “Don’t come back.”
“Yes sir!” Raven exclaims.
Death King creates a new portal to the snowy world. “Get the hell out of my Hell.”
“Who, us?” Hiroshi asks jokingly.
Liza giggles. “Let’s go!”
One by one, the Dark Team members, including Hiroshi and Liza, go through the portal. Leaving the last remaining one behind.
“Hey,” Knapp says just right at the portal. “If you don’t mind me asking… What’s your real name?”
“Hmph,” Death King says amusedly. At first he mentally debates with himself but he remembers how much Knapp did for him.
Knapp takes a step into the portal just in time he hears Death King, “Akuji. That’s my name.”
