Shishi

PLANET HELL

Shishi opens his yellow-orangish eyes. He moans in pain as he sits up from the rocky ground. He rubs his eyes with the back of his hands, trying to get a better and clear vision.

“Ohhh!! Who did Hikyou-sama send to us this time?”

“Aw, it’s only an old geezer? Booo.”

“No, check out his soul. Is it even possible for us to cleanse all evil doings he had done?”

Shishi slowly and nervously looks up to find dozens of creatures with red skins peeking from the wall of a large cliff along with boulders. He carefully gets up. “Where am I…?”

“Welcome to Hell, Mr. Shishi.”

The Locker jumps out of his skin. He did not see a small demon standing right next to him at first. The demon is dressed up in a nice black suit along with square glasses, holding a very thick folder. 

“My name is Bob.” The small red creature opens the folder and skims through several paperworks. 

“Bob?” Shishi asks. What a simple name for a demon…

“With this amount of paperwork of what you had done for the past millions of years along with, uhh…” Bob leans forward as he is taking a closer look into Shishi’s soul. He adjusts his glasses a little bit. “With the large number of sins you committed since the day you were born.”

“Stay away!” Shishi yells angrily as he jumps away from Bob. He looks around at the demons and realizes that even more demons are showing up and are just grinning widely and watching him. As if he is some kind of a show to them.

I have to get the hell out of here…! Shishi starts running away only to stop. He trembles in fear. “How…?”

Bob is standing in front of him with a stoic look on his face. This time, he is holding a large scythe but as soon as he realizes what it is he is holding, he quickly replaces it with the thick folder. He clears his throat as if he’s easing his own embarrassment. “I’m going to take you to Death King. Please follow me.”

As Shishi begins to follow Bob, he has never seen that his real body is still lying on the floor and is about to be carried away by a few other demons.

“Of course…” A man gives a loud sigh as he puts his face cheek on his fist, supported by his own elbow on a skeleton chair’s arm. He licks one of his large fangs. “You had to be the one to bring the last Locker, Hikyou.”

“I’m so offended that you think this way, Death King.” Hikyou laughs lightheartedly. “It’s been a long time since we last talked to each other.”

“Who the hell is this soul and why is he with you? He doesn’t have a drop of evilness.”

“Hi.” Sky waves his hand awkwardly as he steps out behind Hikyou. “Sorry, he insisted that he brought me here.”

“I’m taking him to Heaven with me. I just wanted to stop by here on the way,” Hikyou says. “He saved the universe for us. At the cost of his life, unfortunately.”

“Well, I’m grateful that the universe is safe now.” Death King gets up as he combs his short black hair with his own hand. His red eyes meet Double God’s green eyes. “But as you see, we are getting thousands of souls all at once from the Locker’s damn chains, and many more are coming. We’re busy, so you just go home.”

“I know… Just making sure that Shishi doesn’t escape like he did last time.” Hikyou chuckles lightly just in time Shishi comes into a large cavern along with Bob and a few other demons. “Hehe, it looks like he is popular with your subordinates.”

“Skylar.” Shishi almost growls at the mere name that came out of his own mouth. “I did not expect that you were the Breaker all along.”

Sky nervously scratches the back of his head. “Me either. But… I finally understand why the Fifth Universe wanted me to join the Dark Team.”

“You are my savior.” He remembers Kawaii’s exact words like yesterday. At that time, he had no idea what Kawaii meant until he died. Now that he thinks about it, it makes so much sense after all kinds of locks he accidentally destroyed ever since he was young.

He turns his head towards Death King only to realize that he’s staring back. He asks nervously, “Y-yes?”

“The reincarnation of the former Breaker Gotsu Mitsukai, eh?” Death King looks up and down at Sky, only making him tremble in nervousness. “Hikyou-sama, it may take a while before we completely annihilate Shishi’s soul with the large number of people he killed… So, if you’re looking to retain Skylar’s soul temporarily, then how about taking him to Light Angel?”

“No.” Hikyou crosses his arms as he frowns. “At least, not yet.”

“Still taking pleasure in tormenting him? I’m surprised that you are not the Death King, like me.”

“Anyway!” Double God claps his hand once, moving on to a different subject. “About Shishi. I have a favor to ask you…”

“You know I will not like it.”

“Yeah but…” Hikyou glances at Sky. “Our dear Breaker saved the entire universe for us. So if you destroy Shishi’s soul for good, then so will Sky’s…”

“I’m not listening to you anymore.” Death King snaps. He turns away and then sits down on his throne seat. “Get out of my hell.”

“Ok, fine.” Hikyou raises his hands. He turns away from the Death King. “Sky, it turns out we’re not wanted here anymore. Let’s go to Heaven, shall we? It will probably take him decades before he is able to destroy Shishi’s soul completely anyway, especially with the amount of sins he committed since the beginning of the universe. I guess he also doesn’t want Kira’s soul anymore.”

“O-okay,” Sky says.

“Wait,” Death King says. “What did you say just now? About Kira’s soul?”

“You heard me. The last Hopian’s soul.” Hikyou whirls around back to facing the Death King. “You want it more than the last Locker’s soul, don’t you?”

Death King is glaring at him in annoyance. “She has been sealed for the past one thousand years. You promised me that you’d give her soul to me if you defeated her.” He gets up and takes a few steps. “But she beat you instead.”

“My bad. I underestimated her.” Hikyou chuckles lightly. “I, one hundred percent, understand that you need to feed your demons with evilness that is extracted from every soul. But you have thousands of souls from Earth coming your way, and Kira’s soul will be yours… so just for this once… Please let me have Shishi’s soul?”

“Hey!” Shishi yelps when he feels one of the demons licking his arm hungrily. He hurriedly jumps to Hikyou, hiding behind him.

“See, he likes me!” Hikyou laughs heartily.

“Well, then…” Death King sighs in defeat as he sits back down on his chair. “You can have him. Just one more question.”

“Yes?”

“What do you plan to do with him?”

Hikyou places his forefinger on his own lips as he winks one of his green eyes at Death King. “It’s a secret!”

FEW MONTHS LATER
PLANET EARTH

“A-are you seeing who I’m seeing right now?” Jade asks nervously, really hoping that there is nothing wrong with his head.

“Yes…” Clear says, almost sounding surprised.

“So… we can finally see him now,” Johnny says chilly. 

Logy walks toward a child and squats down to his level. “Is that you, Kawaii?”

“Not only did I start receiving the powers of the Dark and Light Gods which helped me to recover, you also gained my trust. So of course you can see me now,” Kawaii says with both voice and sign language.

“We did not expect that you were a child.” Logy grins as he pats Kawaii’s head. So back then… a few times I felt your touch… And they were so comforting. I wonder why Knapp was really bothered.

“Knapp is not back yet so why are you here now?” Jade asks curiously.

“Light and Dark Gods have been born just now,” Kawaii says. He points up at the ceiling of the spaceship. “Which means Kira has been freed.”

The entire Dark Team shudders at a sudden increase in energy level coming from the sky. 

“W-what do we do now?” Clear asks nervously. “Should we wait until Knapp gets back so we can fight --”

“No,” Kawaii shakes his head, to everyone’s relief. “Kira is Light and Dark Gods’ responsibility now. Besides, she does not know about the Universe Warrior. Not yet, at least.”
