Chapter 11 "The Traveling Doctor"
Chapter 11
The Traveling Doctor
At the Edge of Segundo Galaxy
“...Are you serious?” Ketsu sweatdrops. He looks up and down at what Katuo is wearing. An apron.
“...Yes.” Katuo remains scowling.
“You’ve never cleaned anything in your entire life,” Ketsu says. “Your maids always cleaned your bedroom while we were still living on Earth.”
“So? It looks pretty simple to me.” Katuo shrugs his shoulders. “Siko is still exhausted from training all day yesterday. Shonn has locked himself in the new gravity room that you built for him. Roy… well, I’m pretty sure he has his own stuff to do.”
Ketsu sighs lightly. “I can help you if you need me to…”
“Nonsense. You already have the full plate. Just make sure to watch out for any intruders… especially those from the Order of Goddess Kira.”
“Alright, I’ll be in the bridge if you need me,” Ketsu pats his hand on Katuo’s shoulder before he leaves for the bridge.
As soon as he turns around the corner, he bumps into Shonn. “Oh! I thought you were training?”
“The gravity room is not working anymore.” Shonn scratches the back of his head.
“Again?!” Ketsu cries, grabbing his own hair. “This is the fifth time this week that you broke it!”
“Yup! Can you please fix it?” Shonn gives him his best puppy eyes.
“No. I’m way too busy!” Ketsu snaps at him. “I’ll work on the gravity room later, but for now… I have to get back to the bridge.”
“Nooooo!” Shonn whines loudly, but Ketsu ignores him and is walking away. He quickly leaps toward the Dark Angel and successfully grabs his leg, but it does not even stop Ketsu from heading for the bridge and dragging the ‘puppy’ man.
“I’m soooooo bored!” Shonn shouts until he spots Roy walking by and minding his own business. “Rooooooy!”
“Oh shit! I thought you were in the gravity room?” Roy flinches at first at Shonn’s sudden outburst.
“It broke! Wanna spar?” Shonn lets go of Ketsu, who hurriedly leaves, and begins hopping around Roy. If he had a tail, it would be wiggling happily.

“Computer, please open the security videos,” Ketsu says immediately after he enters the bridge. The large monitor switches to several screens of security videos. “Camera 7, please.”
In the security video, the Hunter spaceship is still being dragged, but it looks much cleaner than when the members of the Order of Goddess Kira abandoned it back then.
“Ketsu, there is an object who is approaching faster. It will crash into us in thirty seconds, but no damage will be done.”
“Really? Is there something out there? Is it another spaceship?” Ketsu blinks. “Please detect any spaceship.”
“Spaceship not detected.”
Ketsu jumps startled at loud thumping noise. “Computer, can you show me where the noise came from?”

“This is harder than I thought. How in the cosmos does Siko do this everyday?!” Katuo is looking at a huge mess in the kitchen from the large breakfast this morning. He rolls up his sleeves, “Okay, I’ve cleaned two bathrooms, three bedrooms, and even Gus’s accident! I’ve come this far --”
He throws the broom at the floor. “Fuck it.”
Just as he turns around, he screams at the sudden appearance of a tall male pink-haired stranger who is wearing a lab coat.
“Ahhh,” the man responds flatly, as if he is pretending to be scared too. He places his cigarette between his lips and takes out his lighter.
Katuo quickly points a finger at him. “Who the hell are you, and what the fuck are you doing here?!”
The man exhales the lung-killing smokes and then places the box of cigarettes back in his pocket of ripped jeans. “I crashed into your spaceship by accident. Your friend saved me. So, here I am.”
“Accident? I didn’t hear anything?” Katuo raises an eyebrow in suspicion. “Where did you come from?”
“I got ran over by a large tractor, then set fire on someone’s house, then got chased out of a planet with my spacejet, went to another planet, ended up damaging everyone’s properties, and got chased out again… now, here I am.”
Katuo blinks slowly. He places his hand on the stranger’s shoulder and gives him a pitiful look. “You must have one hell of bad luck there. What is your name?”
“Klumsy Sigma.”
“Klumsy Sigma, eh? Why does it sound so familiar?”
“I’m a traveling doctor. I travel to a lot of planets to help people. You might have heard of me before.” Klumsy yawns sleepily.
“Sigma… Dr. Klutz Sigma? Are you related to her in some way?” Katuo asks.
“Yes. She is my mother,” Klumsy says.
“No way! She was my family doctor!” Katuo drops his jaw in surprise. He frowns. “What are you doing outside Earth?”
Katuo. He’s bleeding.
Katuo quickly glances at a large red stain on Klumsy’s black sports shirt. It is so dark that it is no wonder that he did not notice it in the first place. “You’re bleeding.”
“Oh,” Klumsy says. “I’m fine.”
“Are you sure?”
Klumsy lifts his shirt to show him that his large wound is healing at a rapid speed. “I’m using the power of regenerating to restore my cells.”
“Klumsy! There you are! I’ve been looking for you for the past fifteen minutes.” Ketsu barges into the kitchen. “I see that you have met our captain, Katuo Kejinto.”
“I see,” Klumsy says stoically. “It’s nice to meet you, Katuo. Can you please take his baby dragon?”
He turns around to show that Gus still has his rear in his sharp teeth.
“You could’ve mentioned it earlier.” Katuo sweatdrops and pulls Gus harshly only to rip a little of Klumsy’s jeans. The baby dragon is hissing loudly at him.
“I don’t like you either,” Klumsy says boldly.
“Who do we have here?” Siko yawns sleepily as he enters the kitchen. Shonn and Roy follow after him.
“This is Klumsy Sigma, a traveling doctor.” Katuo begins the introduction. “Klumsy, this is Siko Mitsukai, Shonn Rage, Roy Shivero, and… this is Gus.”
The dragon hisses again.
“Doctor?” Siko’s face lits up a little. “We have a doctor now?”
“Not yet… maybe…” Katuo says thoughtfully and then turns to Klumsy. “Do you want to stay here? Seeing as you no longer have a ride…”
“Sure.”
“No, I insist you stay -- what? Did you say sure?”
“Yes,” Klumsy says without any hesitation.
“Great!” Siko exclaims in excitement. “We finally have a doctor!”
“Cool!” Shonn hops around Klumsy. “So, where were you going before you got here?”
“Anywhere but Earth.” Klumsy inhales the smoke from his cigarette.
“Why?” Shonn tilts his head like a confused puppy.
“It’s none of your concern,” Klumsy says calmly before Ketsu takes him to his new bedroom.
